Do you want to say “I love you” in Thai?

“Phom” always means “I” (male)

“Dii-chan” always means “I” (female)

“Chan” can mean “I” (male or female)

“Khun” and “thoe” both mean “you” (male or female)

“Chan rak thoe” for “I love you” is far more common than “Chan rak

khun,” since “khun” is rather more formal in the context of such intimacy.
